(ANS – Linz) – Beginning from today 13 February, Don Bosco's Relic is on pilgrimage  in the Guardian Angels Province, Austria. The Relic, kept in a statue of the Saint, has come from the Czech Republic and will be visiting the various Salesian communities in the country until the 22nd of this month.

“This visit from the Statue of Don Bosco is not just a simple occurrence but an encounter with Don Bosco, his love for God and the young”, the Austrian Salesian Communications Office indicates. “The Salesian Family invites you to get to know this fascinating Saint, with an open heart. We are witnesses of faith in Christ and we welcome Don Bosco to our country!”

The Pilgrimage begins just as Lent begins, with a celebration in Linz cathedral, at which the Salesian bishop of the diocese, Ludwig Schwarz, is the main celebrant. Other stages of the pilgrimage are planned for Vöcklabruck, Unterwaltersdorf, Vienna, Graz, Klagenfurt, Salisburgo, Baumkirchen, Stams and Fulpmes.
