On this occasion, in addition to the members of the Regional Executive Secretariat, the Coordinators and the Delegates of the Provincial Councils, also invited were representatives of the Family and Formation Pastoral groups as well as some Salesians-Cooperators from Portugal.
During the meeting an account was given of the good progress made by the Association: also examined were some earlier points from the Committee and information from the World Councillor and the Provincial Councils. The Administrative spokesperson presented the financial report of the Association and Irune López spoke about the situation regarding Salesian Cooperation and the Third World, and ask for new proposals and ideas to improve the missionary contribution.
Saturday afternoon was devoted to the analysis of the proposal for the revision of the Initial Formation Plan undertaken by the Formation spokesperson. There was also time to reflect on the situation regarding pastoral work with families and on the “Hogar Don Bosco” centres in the Provinces. Before the meeting closed the representative for vocation promotion provided information about the Regional Meeting and the II Regional Congress to be held between 29 October and 1 November this year.
