They received their Government attested Don Bosco VTC certificates from the various Government dignitaries present. Among these, in particular were Honourable Ministers for Education, Communication and Law & Legal Affairs and the Director General for Secondary Education in Bahr El Gazal State, Also present were many Church personnel, NGO dignitaries, parents and family members of the students.
The programme was totally arranged and organized by the graduating students who did a marvellous job. The State Police Band graced the occasion with their musical interludes. And the national cultural group `Quoto` performed interesting and enjoyable tribal dances.
The addresses of the Government authorities on the occasion underlined their deep appreciation for the Catholic Church for all that she has done and continues to do for the people and particularly the Youth of the Sudan and a great admiration for Don Bosco through all that is being accomplished by the Salesians of Don Bosco in Sudan and in a special way in Wau.
At the end of the day congratulations were extended to all the graduates, to their familes and the teachers of DBVTC - and in a special way to Fr. Sunil Orathel, the Principal on success achieved by the 83 students.
