The catechetical programme was developed through the morning and afternoon in various formation sessions involving an introduction to the Scriptures and Method and communication,  beginning from some of the doubts that the young catechists had expressed in preparing for each of the workshops. Then Fr Eduardo celebrated Mass and blessed the new tee-shirts which had been made for the leaders and which were given them immediately afterwards.

Some 25 young people of various ages took part, young people who offer their service as catechists every Saturday morning in the community. It is worth emphasising the effort and commitment shown by these young people to improve their formation, also considering the fact that the day of the course was a national feast day and that it was a hot day.

Without doubt their spirit of leadership meant that they arrived well-prepared for the workshop, ready to learn new ways and offer better service to the children, following this year`s Strenna: “bring the Gospel to the young” and putting one of Don Bosco`s mottoes into practice: “education of the young, by and for the young”.
