This stage will cost in the region of euro 220,000.00 and includes ground work and services, pathways, and the first of the Project buildings with social and educational facilities, office and meeting area and external beds for growing vegetables, flowers and fruit crops.
The signing was witnessed by Denis Moore, architect with the Project.
Also present were Ken McEvoy, member of the ACRE core team and Graham Mooney co-director of Footprint Developments, a contracting firm from Rathkenny, Co. Meath..
Work on the site is to begin 10 May and last between six and nine weeks, meaning the project can be well tested and up and running by the start of September. Local people will be very happy to see the Project taking a step nearer realisation.
