Sr. Mary Greenan explored generation theory with them to prompt their reflection on being a Salesian generation who lives the story, traditions and spirit of our charism. Fr. Tim Ploch, the SUO Provincial later encouraged them as leaders to "stay with Don Bosco" by not only discerning their vocation, but by integrating their Catholic faith and values into their daily lives.
The weekend included focused times for community building and fun, as well as prayer and reflection. During the latter time participants experienced varying forms of prayer to help them listen to the voice of God in their lives as well as celebrate Reconciliation
The entire process of the weekend was intended to clarify and enliven the young adults as "faithful disciples and zealous apostles" for Christ and the Salesian mission as proposed in the Strenna for 2010.
In the coming weeks they will gather again regionally to prepare a final draft of their work which will guide the Province Pastoral Plan with young adults.
