Thanks to the collaboration of the International Association of Development Projects (VIPE) in Germany the Centre is meant to help the students and the educative community to expand values and quality.
The first aim is to support the education and all-round development of the students of the University , encouraging them to take part in the various other activities - alternative and complementary to the academic ones, and aimed at the coordinated and systematic development of them as individuals.
The CSIU operates through a series of specific services in recreational and educative development, human, physical and intellectual, in ongoing education and in providing social support at the university.
The building of the CSIU, from an architectural point of view has modern features, on three floors, two of which are devoted exclusively to the needs of the students. While the third is intended for a variety of activities. The building covers over 1500 square metres and all the open spaces are designed with a view to the greatest attention being given to a sense of openness, light and ventilation, so that it may be a comfortable and pleasant place for all those who make use of it.
