There were 30 people including Salesians, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Daughters of the Divine Saviour and laity working in their own Provinces or countries in the schools area, who met together to exchange ideas and experiences to draw up lines of action for the implementation of the ESA III in their own situation.
Leading the meeting were Sr. Costanza Arango and Fr Rafael Borges, collaborators in the Youth Ministry Area and Department of Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and the Salesians.
The variety of the experience in the different Provinces did not make the work easy even though at the rewarding Once the general lines were settled the work was undertaken in groups according to Provinces and countries so as to be able to make plans and face up to the great challenges emerging at continental level.
The countries represented, United States, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Panama, Dominican Republic and Haiti, make up the CIMAC-Mesoamerican area. Reflection undertaken during the days followed the four major areas for action: animation, communication, formation and evaluation.
