(ANS - Milan)- Casa Don Bosco continues for the month of October which is the last month of EXPO 2015. There will be a series of events dedicated to reflection on food and nutrition, sustainable living, the training of young people, practical demonstrations, tastings and entertainment for all participants.

Today, Thursday 15 October, there are several events including a meeting with the University of Brescia, entitled "You choose the future of the planet", and the awards ceremony for the winning students of the Salesian Vocational Training Centres.

In the afternoon, after a meeting with Schneider Electric, there will be an orientation day for students entitled "Nourishing the Mind: learn how to change the world." The interest and commitment of the Salesians in the training of youth is the subject of a presentation on Master of Pavia and the international network of the Master in Cooperation and Development: Pavia, Cartagena de Indias, Bethlehem, Nairobi and Kathmandu. There will also be the award ceremony for theses on the themes of EXPO.

On 16 October the exhibition "When food is Knowledge - Survival - Power - Pleasure - Education - Responsibility - Equality", will remain open throughout the day. This is a sensory and cognitive trip around food and food production in five countries of the southern hemisphere with video images, photos, educational activities and multimedia interactions to give an understanding of the importance of the right to food and food security. The exhibition includes relevant training materials.

On 19 October the week opens with Schneider Electric, with a talk about energy conservation and sustainability.
