(ANS - Santa Cruz) - "The image of Don Bosco journeying through all the houses of our Province in 2010 is still in our hearts and in our eyes. Well, now it is the person who succeeds and represents Don Bosco, in the government and leadership of the Salesian Family, who has come to visit us." These were are the words of Fr Javier Ortiz Rodriguez, Provincial of the Salesians of Bolivia yesterday 8 April as he welcomed the Rector Major of the Salesians, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime. His visit will last until Saturday 11 April.

The Provincial also said: "The festivities for the bicentenary of the birth of Don Bosco in Bolivia are being celebrated in the presence of the Rector Major of the Salesians!"

Fr Á.F.Artime will meet the Salesian Family and young people in three cities - Santa Cruz, Cochabamba and La Paz. The Rector Major greeted them through a video-message recorded on arrival in Santa Cruz: "I'm already in Bolivia, at Santa Cruz de la Sierra, and these words are meant to invite all of you, young people, Salesian Family, friends of Don Bosco, to meet us. I would really like to meet you (...) to meet as family and friends. Therefore please come, everyone who can, today in Santa Cruz, Friday and Saturday in Cochabamba and La Paz ... I'll be expecting you!"
