(ANS - Milan) - In preparation for the World Expo Milano 2015, the Executive Committee for Expo "Casa Don Bosco" has circulated a letter to all the leaders of the Salesian Family inviting them to present their groups in the pavilion of the Salesian Family. Here is the text of the letter:

Dear Friend,

As already announced in January during the Giornate di Spiritualità della Famiglia Salesiana we will be present in EXPO Milano 2015 with a pavilion we have called Casa DBN . This letter, maybe, will be for someone something already known, for others maybe something new: in both cases we kindly ask you to read it carefully.

It is a happy coincidence that, in the occasion of the Bicentenary of the birth of our Founder, this world event takes place at about 100 km from Torino and it is a delicate gift of the Divine Providence that we can be present for the entire six months of its duration from May 1 to October 31 of this year.

Don Bosco and the young people, his education system of Yesterday and today, the many beautiful and important experiences, spread all over more than 130 countries, will be at the heart of our communication. These testify the liveliness and effectiveness of a style and a method that, in these centuries, has mould parents and religious, citizens and professionals as well as saints.

In Casa Don Bosco we will be present as Salesian Family as we are, all together and in a different way, the Don Bosco of today: we are the continuation in history of his charisma, of his mission, of his gift to the Church and to the World. For this, we kindly request and hope that every single Group of the Salesian Family will be able to illustrate somehow its reality.

In the overall communication we will often refer to the Salesian Family with institutional references to our realities: the institutional video already shown at the Giornate di Spiritualità della Famiglia Salesiana; the link to the webpage of the Salesians of Don Bosco where the different groups are listed; a booklet with the presentation of the Salesian Family.

However, we invite each Group to find a simple way, meaningful and original to express its specific reality: a booklet, a small exhibition on panels, a short video with its story and some testimonials.....and above all the presence of the person in charge and of some members during one of the days of the Exhibition.

We kindly request you to give feedback as soon as possible to this proposal sending an email to belfiore.donclaudio@gmail.com indicating your decision about this, even if negative. We are, as  much as possible, at your disposal for the realization of your proposals.
