(ANS - Nazareth) – To mark the bicentenary of the birth of Don Bosco, a sheet of stamps for internal use in Israel, and another with twelve souvenir stamps, were issued in Nazareth on 26 January.
The stamps carry the bicentenary logo (one in English and one in Arabic), the badge of the Past Pupils, a photo of the statue of Don Bosco that dominates the courtyard in front of the school of Nazareth, and an icon of Don Bosco with the school in Bethlehem. Another four posters contain slogans in Arabic on Salesian education: "It is enough that you are young for me to love you very much; Run, jump, shout, but do not sin; The mission of Don Bosco - with young people and for young people; The mission of Don Bosco gives meaning and joy to the lives of young people." There were also another three with striking images of Don Bosco with young people.
On the feast of Don Bosco, in memory of the bottle of wine and millet bread brought by Mamma Margherita to her sick son in the seminary (MB I, 482), 300 forty ml bottles of Cremisan wine, each the bicentenary logo, were distributed to the participants.
