(ANS- Rome) - As part of his programme of animation visits to the various Salesian Provinces of the world, the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime is visiting Guatemala and Venezuela between 4 and 12 November. This will be his last such visit for 2014.
From 4 to 6 November, Fr. Á.F. Artime will visit the Centre for Philosophical Studies in Guatemala. This year marks 50 years of academic service. During his stay in the Central American country, the Rector Major will also visit the community of the Theology Students of the Province and CRESCO, the Regional Centre for the Salesian Brother. which offers formation to the Salesian Brothers of the two American regions.
Later, from 7 to 12 November, he will visit several communities in Venezuela, where he will meet Salesians, young people and members of the Salesian Family. In particular, in Caracas-Sarria, he will meet the confreres from the communities in Caracas, Los Teques, San Antonio, Puerto La Cruz and San Felix. He will visit the Theology Students at Macaracuay and then in Barinas he will get to know the Agricultural School. He will take part in various gatherings and share with Salesians and lay people, young people and friends of the Salesian community. Finally, he will visit Don Bosco House and the Don Bosco School in Valencia.
